NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)

NAD+ is a coenzyme of vitamin B3. NAD is a molecule that reacts with oxygen in the mitochondria in every cell of your body in order to create energy so you can move, breathe, pump blood, digest food, think, and generally live a better life.  

Lack of this essential cellular fuel is now recognized as a key feature of chronic fatigue, apathy, depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug addiction, weak immune system (infections and cancer), muscle pain and weakness, headaches, memory disturbance, sleep problems, focus and concentration defects and other chronic diseases. NAD deficiency may be an unrecognized epidemic of cellular disease.

One of the biggest benefits from NAD+ IV’s is the anti-inflammatory effects. Inflammation levels decrease significantly within 48 hours and can remain that way for weeks to months. When inflammation levels are high, we suggest 2-3 IV’s within 3 weeks, more may be needed but a significant decrease should be noticed.

NAD increase the production of Dopamine, the “feel good” neurotransmitter. Dopamine levels decrease significantly when a person uses Opioids (Fentanyl, Heroine, Codeine, Morphine, etc.,) and create dependence on the drug itself. NAD can be used to help decrease the addiction to these drugs and increase normal brain function.

NAD levels decrease over the course of our life, especially after 50 years old. Due to this we age faster, heal slower and have far more health problems. If you’re over 50 years old we suggest 3-5 IV’s over a 4 week period of time.

NAD+ IV’s can take between 3-5 hours each time. Please plan accordingly. Bring food and water with you, a book or tablet to watch movies or bring your laptop and get some work done. We generally will have you in your own private room for these IV’s since they take more time than any other IV we offer.
